Ants are the most common call we get. In Central Texas that usually means one of a few kinds: little black ants and odorous house ants trailing across the kitchen counter, carpenter ants in damp wood, crazy ants that move fast and show up in big numbers, and fire ants out in the yard.
Indoor ants
Spraying the trail you can see doesn’t fix much, because the colony is somewhere else, usually outside or inside a wall. Our techs treat the outside perimeter, the entry points, and the inside spots where ants are coming in. We use baits where they make sense, since the workers carry them back and take out the colony instead of just the ants you see.
Most ants are covered by our 90-day guarantee as part of regular service. If they come back between visits, we come back at no charge.
Fire ants
Fire ants are handled differently because they live in the lawn, not the house. We have a separate fire ant yard and flower bed program for that.
Helping the treatment work
Wipe up crumbs and sticky spots, keep pet food sealed, and fix any leaky faucets or pipes. Ants follow food and water, and the less they find, the faster things settle down.
