Most roaches we see around Austin are American roaches, the big ones people call water bugs or palmetto bugs. They live outside in mulch, drains and sewer lines, and come in when it rains or gets hot. German roaches are smaller and different. They live and breed inside, usually in kitchens and bathrooms, and they take more work to clear out.

Big outdoor roaches
Regular exterior service takes care of most of these. We treat the perimeter, weep holes, door thresholds and the areas around drains and garages where they get in. These roaches are covered by our 90-day guarantee on regular service.
German roaches
If you’re seeing small roaches in the kitchen during the day, that’s usually German roaches and it usually means a bigger population behind the cabinets. We treat with baits and growth regulators in the places they hide and plan follow-up visits close together, since one visit rarely finishes the job. We’ll be straight with you about what it’ll take.
Restaurants and commercial kitchens
We also service businesses across the greater Austin area. If you run a kitchen, office or apartment property, see our commercial pest control page.
